Our first “Pizza and a Movie” night event on May 1st, put on by the Congregational Care Team was a HUGE success!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this night possible and thanks to everyone who came out, and enjoyed a night filled with laughter, fellowship, food, fun and even a few tears.
We started the night out with some fresh popcorn, drinks and fellowship, followed by the opening prayer which was given by Rev. Dr. Earl Bland.
After the prayer, folks enjoyed a variety of pizza and drinks!
Fresh popcorn was served as everyone settled into their seats around the tables and watched the movie “I Can Only Imagine.” A wonderful Christian movie with a powerful message about forgiveness and redemption.
Meanwhile… the kids were in the Education building with their pizza & drinks. Much to their surprise, popcorn and a treat bag were delivered to them, which made the kids squeal with delight! The kids also enjoyed a movie “Spider-Man – Into the Spider-Verse.”
A great night was had by all!
